Pottery Workshops

THIS IS A TRIAL CLASS ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE OF THROWING, SO THERE'S NO FINISHED PIECE TO TAKE HOME.

New to clay? Want to try out the wheel? A studio instructor will walk you through the basics: centering, opening, and pulling up the walls of a simple form. Expect wobbly walls, collapsed cylinders, and a lot of laughing at each other’s attempts. That’s half the fun.

Come to play, get messy, and find out if pottery is for you. No experience needed.

To prepare: wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, trim your fingernails, and tie back long hair. Aprons, clay, and tools are provided.
